About the facilitator:
Hi! I’m Jessie Morrison. I am a Registered Psychologist and I absolutely love facilitating groups. I have over a decade of group therapy experience across various settings and populations. I’ve also provided individual counselling and assessment in many settings—private practice, hospitals, community mental health, and the WCB over the last 15 years of my career as a psychologist. But beyond the credentials, I’ve been where you are. I’ve felt the imposter syndrome, struggled with boundaries, doubted myself, battled the EPPP, dealt with some less than stellar supervision experiences, and wrestled with the emotional weight of this work. And like you, I’m human—still learning, still growing and still struggling from time to time. With the utmost humility I am excited to learn and grow from all of you. My hope is this will be a group where we can connect, support each other, learn from each other, process some stuff, but also have some fun and laughs along the way.
Please get in touch with me to add your name to the list for the next group or to ask any questions. I look forward to connecting!
